Communion

9.45 - 10.30am

The Communion or ‘Breaking of Bread’ service is an opportunity for Christians to worship and praise the Lord Jesus Christ for who He is and what He has done for us.

This service is more traditional and reflective. The service starts with someone sharing a short devotional message from the Bible which is then followed by open worship, in which people in the congregation contribute Bible readings, reflections, hymns and prayers.

During the service someone gives thanks for the bread and (non-alcoholic) wine - which are symbols of Jesus' sacrifice for us at the cross.

All Christians who love the Lord are welcome to share in the bread and wine.  For hygiene reasons, individual cups and bread are used.
